Privacy Policy

This privacy policy explains what information The Trip Way collects, why it is used and the choices available to visitors.

Information you provide

If you use our contact form, we receive the name, email address, subject and message you submit. We use that information only to review and reply to your enquiry, handle corrections or rights requests, and protect the form from abuse. Do not send sensitive personal information.

Comments and discussion

When you submit a comment, we collect the name, email address and comment you enter, together with technical data WordPress receives such as your IP address and browser user agent. We use these details to review submissions, prevent spam and respond to relevant questions. Comments require manual approval before appearing. If approved, your name and comment are public; your email address is not published.

If you choose the optional comment-cookie checkbox, WordPress may save your name and email in browser cookies for convenience on a later visit. You can decline it and still comment. We do not display third-party avatar images.

Technical information and cookies

Like most websites, our hosting and WordPress software may process basic technical information such as IP address, browser type, requested pages, timestamps and security logs. Essential cookies may be used for site administration, security and core functionality. At present, The Trip Way does not require visitors to create an account.

Advertising and Google services

If advertising is activated, third-party vendors including Google may use cookies, web beacons, IP addresses or similar identifiers to serve, measure and personalise ads. Google and its partners may use advertising cookies based on visits to this and other websites. Visitors can manage personalised advertising in Google Ads Settings and learn how Google uses information from partner sites. Where applicable law requires consent, an appropriate consent mechanism will be provided before non-essential advertising cookies are used.

Sharing and retention

We do not sell contact-form details. Information may be processed by hosting, email, security or technical service providers only as needed to operate the site, or disclosed when required by law. Contact messages are retained only as long as reasonably needed for the enquiry, legal obligations and abuse prevention.

External links

Our articles may link to independent websites. Their privacy practices are controlled by those organisations, not by The Trip Way.

Your choices

You may ask about, correct or request deletion of personal information you submitted through the contact form, subject to legal and security exceptions. Use the contact page and select “General enquiry”.

Policy changes

We may update this policy when our services or legal obligations change. The revision date above will be updated when material changes are published.
